June 28th 2008 Nate Steyer lost in the 2nd round with a red light. Nate was #1 qualifier in the 8-9 year old class with his reaction time of .087.
June 27th 2008 Paul Steyer ran in the heads up series. Paul was in the Super Outlaw Unlimited Class at Mid-America Motor Plex. Paul ran 4.81 at 148mph in the finals to win the class for the night.
May 18th 2008 Jason Chapin won Super Pro with a 10:77 to Josh Vettel's 8:14 to take the win at Kearney Race Way Park.
April 5th 2008 Jason Chapin of Lincoln Nebraska won the Sat. night gamblers race. In the finals Jason's 1972 Nova ran 10:55 to Sabrina Nieman's 9:22 to take the win at Kearney Race Way Park.
Projects underway at Steyer's
Mike Allen of Davey Nebraska had Paul Steyer of Steyers performance build a 511 big block for his 1969 Camero. Paul put Mike's Camero on their Chassis Dyno and it read 490hp at the rear wheel. After some fine tuning by Paul it jumped to 570hp . Mike ran 640's foot breaking it at the track. The Camero will run in the mid 5's on Nitrous. Mike's Camero is a street legal non tubbed car.
Mike Frostrum of Omaha had Paul freshen the 632 in his 1980 Malibu. Paul also is back halfing the Malibu. Mike's car should be on the track in a couple of weeks.
Jared Hayes of Omaha is having Steyer's build a 402 small block for his 1970 Nova. Steyer is also back halfing Jareds Nova for the 2008 season.
Jason Chapin of Lincoln is looking at two Steyer Powerglides.
Paul Steyer of Steyers Performance, made it out to MAM for their 1st Quick 32 race of the season on Saturday May 17th 2008. Paul finished his new 632 for his 1970 Chevelle. Paul did 2 motor pulls and 2 Nitrous pulls on the Chassis Dyno before he headed to the track to race. The Nitrous pulls were getting 1100hp rear wheel on the Dyno. The Chevelle ran 5:08-5:02 off the trailer. Paul tuned the Nitrous and the car ran in the 480's. Paul lost due to cutting a bad light.
Nick Steyer of Ceresco Nebraska ran his new Jr. Dragster Saturday May 17th 2008. Nick ran 9:20s consistently through the day. Nick won first round but lost second round due to a breakout.
Nate Steyer of Ceresco Nebraska ran his new Jr. Dragster Saturday May 17th 2008. Nate just turned 8 yrs old and is racing for the first time. Nate lost the first round and went to the losers bracket but worked his way back to the semi finals but broke out competing for King of The Track. Nate has had to learn how to pedal the car to slow it down.
